Aerotek is currently seeking experienced **sheet metal/structural mechanics** to join our client's great company culture in **Philadelphia, PA** ! ***Weekly Pay!*** ***Direct Placement*** ***Long-term Opportunity*** Qualified candidates will perform structural modifications and heavy maintenance on helicopters and rotary aircraft in a P145 work enviornment. **Responsibilities:** + Shoot and buck rivets to specifications. + Recognize differences in types of metals including structural strength and thickness. + Perform sheet metal bends to guidelines and specifications as dictated in normal aviation practices. + Remove existing rivets from aircraft structure. + Build components for aircraft applications using a variety of sheet metal materials. + Perform repairs to the aircraft and determine which repairs can or cannot be made. + Read blueprints to ensure build and modification completion; follow both written and verbal instructions. **Must-Have Qualifications:** + Previous aircraft structures experience + 4-7 years of aviation experience. + Airframe License OR A&P license. + Experience with structural repairs on sheet metal and composite materials. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints. + Proficiency in performing inspections, repairs, services, and modifications according to FAA standards. + Ability to work with diagnostic test equipment. + Experience with helicopter dynamic components (preferred). + Ability to follow instructions and work under minimal supervision. + Proficiency in documenting work performed using computers. + Knowledge of AS9100 regulations. **Why Work Here?** + $10K for moving personal items + 60 days paid housing, + $5K resettlement allowance bonus + Reimbursement for mileage, meals, and housing on relocation trips + 100% company-paid benefits for employees and families + 401k with company match up to 6%, a sign-on bonus, annual bonuses (4-6%), yearly performance raises, and 30 days PTO & paid holidays **Work Environment:** + Typical schedule: Multiple shifts available, Daylight + Employees must be open to 4, 10s schedule **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $83200.00/yr. 100% Company paid benefits Relocation Assistance 19 days paid vacation 11 paid holidays Annual bonus Sign on Bonus **Workplace Type** This is a fully onsite position in Philadelphia,PA. **Application Deadline** This position is anticipated to close on Mar 7, 2025. **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
