Aircraft Structural Supervisor
**Job Title: Aircraft Structural Supervisor** **Job Description** We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aircraft Structural Supervisor to oversee the assembly operations of jet engines at our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. This first-shift position requires a leader who can ensure the highest standards of quality and safety while managing a dedicated team of assembly technicians. **Responsibilities** + Supervise Assembly Operations: Coordinate and schedule the activities of 15+ employees involved in the assembly of jet engines. + Quality Control: Monitor the assembly process to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Conduct inspections and tests to verify the functionality and safety of assembled components. + Team Management: Train and mentor assembly technicians on job duties, company policies, and safety measures. Evaluate employee performance and provide feedback. + Production Reporting: Prepare and analyze production reports to identify areas for improvement. Report routinely to upper management on progress. Recommend measures to enhance productivity and reduce costs with a focus on LEAN manufacturing. + Resource Management: Oversee the inventory of parts and supplies needed for assembly. Coordinate with other departments to ensure a seamless production process. + Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any issues that arise during the assembly process. Implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences. **Essential Skills** + Sheet metal + Aviation + Aircraft + Structure + Structural assembly + Rivet + Assembly + Aviation structural assembly + Supervisor + Aerospace Assembly Supervisor **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + An associate or bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in aerospace or industrial manufacturing of 5+ years will be considered. + 5+ years of experience managing teams of 10+ employees in aerospace or industrial manufacturing or assembly. + Previous supervisory or leadership experience is a must have. + Strong leadership and team management skills. + Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. + Proficiency in using assembly tools and equipment. + Proficiency in MS Office applications and ERP systems. + Knowledge of safety and quality standards in manufacturing. + Lean manufacturing experience a plus. + 10% international travel to Europe is required in the first year. **Why Work Here?** Join a brand-new, $20 million jet engine manufacturing facility in Roswell, GA.
