Aircraft Technician
Aerotek Aviation is hiring commercial A&P mechanics for a contract to hire position in Fort Worth, Tx working on commercial aircraft. **Description:** Aircraft Tech Job Duties: Perform Line maintenance (on-call and scheduled) work on various customers' aircrafts. Perform routine maintenance and airworthiness releases (within scope of approval) returning aircraft to service. Responsible for servicing, inspecting, and maintaining aircraft, aircraft engines, and associated components; effectively performs work to meet deadlines and performance goals. Troubleshoot systems; disassemble, repair, and reassemble sections and components to maintain full functioning equipment according to Approved Technical Data provided by the customer. Ensure all departing aircraft are safe in accordance with FAR’s and the air carrier/manufacturer manuals and all work performed is properly documented. Perform line maintenance duties, activities and maintenance tasks as assigned. Collaborate and communicate with the air carrier’s maintenance control center as required. **Additional Skills & Qualifications:** Basic Qualifications: - Must have a current valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant License. - 1 - 2+ years’ experience in aircraft maintenance. - Ideal candidate have recent line maintenance experience, emphasis on troubleshooting, daily and turn checks, ability to work in fast-paced dynamic environment. - Boeing aircraft maintenance experience Looking for B737 or 767 experience Shift: Days and Nights open- 6pm to 7am or 6am - 7pm. First 3 days of shift are 12 hours, 4th day is 6 hours. 3 12hr shifts followed by 1 6hr shift Shift 1 Wed - Sat Shift 2 Sun - Wed.
