**Job Title: Aircraft Technician (Kinston NC)** *Will accept entry level A&P mechanics **Job Description** Aircraft Technicians will be performing heavy maintenance (C & D checks, calendar checks) for ATR-72, ATR-42, and Cessna Caravan aircraft. They will also be performing heavy maintenance for ERJ 145 aircraft owned by other customers. Typical duties include working on flight controls, tearing out and reinstalling interior components, performing corrosion control, removing and replacing landing gear, performing minor electrical work, removing and replacing engines, and performing minor structural repairs. **Responsibilities** + Perform heavy maintenance (C & D checks, calendar checks) on ATR-72, ATR-42, and Cessna Caravan aircraft. + Conduct heavy maintenance for ERJ 145 aircraft. + Work on flight controls and reinstall interior components. + Perform corrosion control and minor electrical work. + Remove and replace landing gear and engines. + Conduct minor structural repairs. **Essential Skills** + A&P License + Experience with heavy maintenance + Proficiency in C & D checks + Knowledge of depot level and O-level maintenance + Familiarity with aircraft such as Cessna, ATR 72, ATR 42, Embraer, ERJ, and CRJ **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Military Aviation experience from Navy, Army, Marines, or Airforce + Any type of aviation maintenance experience + Helicopter maintenance experience + Own tools required + A&P License is not required for entry-level positions **Why Work Here?** This is a great opportunity for entry-level candidates to get their foot in the door with a reputable company and gain hands-on experience as an A&P Mechanic in a heavy maintenance environment.
