Role Description:
The Airfield Transient Services Specialist is responsible for providing a range of services to transient aircraft and crews visiting the airfield. The Specialist shall marshal all aircraft and operate the Follow-Me vehicle to ensure safe movement and parking of rotary and fixed wing aircraft. This role involves coordinating ground support, ensuring the safety and security of aircraft operations, and providing exceptional customer service to pilots and passengers. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a customer-focused attitude, and experience in aviation operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate parking and ground support for transient aircraft, including marshaling, towing, and parking assistance.Ensure proper placement and secure tie-down of aircraft.Operate ground support equipment such as tugs, fuel trucks, and air conditioning units as needed.Provide high-quality service to visiting pilots and passengers, addressing their needs promptly and professionally.Assist with luggage handling, ground transportation arrangements, and other concierge services.Maintain a welcoming and accommodating atmosphere in the transient services area.Facilitate aircraft refueling, catering, cleaning, and maintenance services as requested.Coordinate with maintenance teams to address any aircraft issues or requests.Monitor and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations during servicing operations.Implement and adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the safety of personnel and aircraft.Monitor and enforce airfield security measures, including access control and surveillance.Report any safety hazards or security concerns to the Airfield Operations Manager.Training on Safety Management System (SMS) principles, including risk assessment, hazard identification, and safety performance monitoring.Maintain accurate records of transient aircraft arrivals, departures, and services provided.Process billing and payment for services rendered to transient aircraft.Prepare and submit reports on transient services activities to the Airfield Operations Manager.Communicate effectively with air traffic control, ground handling teams, and other airport departments.Coordinate with external service providers for specialized aircraft services.Keep abreast of weather conditions and relay pertinent information to pilots and air traffic control.#LHD1I-#LI-

Basic Qualifications:
3 years experience operating vehicles on and within an airport area.High school diploma or equivalent.International Air Transportation Association (IATA) handling, and storage of dangerous goods training.Strong understanding of aircraft types, ground support equipment, and airport operations.Excellent customer service and communication skills both verbal and written (English).Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.Proficiency in using airport operations software and communication systems.Valid drivers license and the ability to operate ground support equipment.Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.Position requires the ability to obtain/maintain a U.S. security clearance.Ability to pass physical screening.Familiarity with International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Annex 19 Safety Management.Passport with 18 months remaining.Compensation and Benefits:
