Sodexo Live!'s Airport Lounge Segment has an exciting opportunity for a Kitchen Inventory Manager  at Harvey Milk International Airport in San Francisco, CA.  An oasis away from the airport hustle, our airport lounges have become synonymous for comfort and elegance at major airports throughout the world. The Kitchen Inventory Manager will have oversight of food and beverage program, including food prep/cooks, bartenders, and food attendants.  As Inventory Manager, you will be responsible for the club(s)/lounge operations including, ordering product, inventory, food and beverage (bar) program training, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with culinary training, and have conducted ordering and inventory operations for a restaurant or hotel F&B department.  Oversight for both bar and back of house. We are seeking individuals with strong communication skills, flexibility and adaptability in a fast and frequently changing environment.

What You'll Do

The successful candidate will:

have previous food, beverage and culinary experience within hotels, restaurants or similar upscale hospitality venue;utilize Food Management systems for menu development, ordering and inventory;have oversight of daily food operations and deliver a high-quality product;achieve company and client financial targets and goals;provide the highest quality of service;estimate food requirements, check production, and keep records in order to accurately plan production requirements and requisition supplies and equipment; and/orComply with all company safety, risk management, and HACCP policies and procedures. What You Bring

1-2 years of kitchen inventory and ordering experience;have a work history demonstrating strong leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the organization;possess the ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and exhibit a passion for a high-level of customer service;exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed; and/ordemonstrate working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems as well as menu graphics programs.
