Airline Transitions Engineer

We are currently seeking an experienced Airline Transitions Engineer to join our esteemed team at CAE Parc Airline Technical Services Department. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the efficient Aircraft transitions for our clients across various projects. This position offers diverse project assignments tailored to deliver efficient solutions for our esteemed clientele.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical support throughout aircraft transitions, deliveries, and re-deliveries, ensuring compliance with airworthiness and lease contractual requirements. Manage project timelines with a focus on maintenance event planning and on time transfer of title. Maintain meticulous records management, conducting records reviews to validate maintenance history and compliance records accuracy, including control of a comprehensive discrepancy list. Coordinate pre-transition actions with stakeholders, including airlines, lessors, maintenance organizations, and regulatory authorities, ensuring effective synchronization of schedules and resources. Act as the central point of contact between airlines, lessors, and service providers, facilitating transparent communication to ensure smooth aircraft transitions. Participate in Aircraft data import projects within the associated Maintenance Information Systems. Utilize your extensive aviation experience and industry network to make significant contributions to our team's success. Execute various projects simultaneously as assigned by the Fleet Technical Management Leader.
Skills and Qualifications:
Strong technical aviation background acquired through hands-on roles in airlines, aircraft lessors, manufacturers, or maintenance organizations.Proficient knowledge of Airbus and Boeing fleets.Familiarity with applicable EASA/FAA Regulatory Requirements.Comprehensive understanding of Aircraft Records, maintenance documentation, and aircraft maintenance philosophies, including heavy checks on aircraft and landing gear, as well as engines Shop Visits.Ability to simplify complex processes, draft procedures, and perform effectively under pressure.Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
Practical experience with Maintenance Information Systems (MIS) such as AMOS or Trax.Hands-on experience with Airbus Aircraft Transitions Self-motivated, efficient, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.Strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple priorities and making decisions in a fast-paced environment.Willingness to travel as necessary.Position Type
