When it comes to relocating to Florida, outside of the warm weather. I would expect that candidates have a desire already or something that is drawing them to the area (i.e. family considerations) that will provide the base for them or a reason for coming here other than a job at Client. As a growing company there are always opportunities for advancement.
Client is a MVNO (mobile virtual network operator), which means it has to partner with all of the top US wireless carriers, 8+handset manufacturers, and 3+ chipset vendors. This unique setup allows Client to work across multiple technologies from different vendors and especially from a security engineering perspective makes it very interesting.
Client's Mobile Device Security team is regarded by many top companies such as Motorola, Samsung, and Qualcomm as being the most intensive and technically advanced team among the US and even global carriers.
With over 26 million customers and 5+ brands, it is a tall feat to have the same level of high security across the entire product line but that is what the team has been able to do. We exceed expectations and go out of our way to set higher standards each year for ourselves. We are a relatively small company, which gives us direct access to executive management and a greater sense of empowerment to influence the security vision of the company. We are also involved in new initiatives such as mobile application security, secure unlocking solutions, and protection of company intellectual property and partner with leading industry security firms in this regard. We are also very active in the security engineering community with regular attendance to events such as BlackHat and Qualcomm Mobile Security summits. We are a very tight knit and diverse group of individuals ranging from computer science, computer engineering, to electrical engineering backgrounds.
