Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Alarm Technician, who has extensive experience in alarm systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently and as part of a team to ensure the safety and security of our clients' properties. The Alarm Technician will be responsible for ensuring that all alarm systems are functioning properly and meet industry standards.
ResponsibilitiesInstall, maintain, and troubleshoot alarm systems.Ensure all alarm systems are functioning properly and meet industry standards.Conduct inspections and tests of alarm systems to ensure proper operation.Build effective relationships with clients through excellent communication skills.Pull permits as necessary.Comply with all safety protocols and regulations.Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and efficient completion of projects.Essential SkillsStrong understanding of fire alarm systems, wiring, and safety protocols.Experience as a service technician with a strong understanding of electrical systems.Knowledge of low voltage wiring and installation practices.Familiarity with system design principles for alarm installations.Ability to build effective relationships with clients through excellent communication skills.Must have Fire Alarm License for State of Michigan.Valid driver's license and clean driving record.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in construction inspection related to alarm system installations is a plus.Sales experience in alarm systems is advantageous but not required.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment includes both office and fieldwork settings. The role may require working in various weather conditions and environments. Standard working hours apply, with occasional requirements for overtime or on-call shifts. Appropriate safety gear and tools will be provided.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Royal Oak, Michigan.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $33.00 - $40.00/hr.
