Job Description A client in the Greenville, TX market is seeking Senior Systems Engineer, experienced in Algorithm development who has very broad experience across many technical disciplines within the Signals Intelligence domain. Will be required to lead one or more teams of System Engineers through the Systems Engineering development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, system architecture design, hardware and software integration, and verification and validation activities related to COMINT and/or ELINT Airborne Systems. Support of both Internal Research and Development (IR&D) and customer awarded contracts is essential with this role. iii. Essential Functions: 1. In-depth knowledge of SIGINT, specifically ELINT or COMINT, preferrable both 2. Direction Finding and Geolocation 3. Knowledge of Signal Processing using FPGA Devices 4. Communicates within and outside of the organization to influence leadership to accept new practices, approaches, and concepts 5. Communicates with parties within and outside of the organization, which includes large customers and vendors 6. Works to influence others to accept new practices, concepts, and approaches 7. Requires ability to communicate and influence leadership regarding matters of substantial importance to the SIGINT Systems Department 8. Responsible for improving upon existing processes or establishing new processes and systems 9. Signal Detection; Estimation; Analog and Digital Communication 10. Broad understanding Geolocation and Timed Direction of Arrival (TDOA) measurements We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. Skills and Requirements Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science. 7+ years of experience in algorithm analysis. Experience in design, development, and/or testing of SIGNT, COMINT or ELINT RF Antenna systems. Digital Signal Processing (DSP) and detection in FPGA devices. Experience analyzing, tweaking and improving algorithms. Understanding of Geolocation and Timed Direction of Arrival (TDOA) measurements. Active Secret Clearance (with ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance). Kelman Filters experience. Bayesian Probability Modeling experience. Probability Theory and Combinatorics experience. Modem Design experience. Cyclostationary Signal Analysis experience. Probability and Random Processes experience. Systems Architecture experience.
