Position Highlights:

Management of a variety conditions such as environmental allergies, food allergies, medication allergies, venom allergy, eczema, asthma, eosinophilic esophagitis, urticaria/angioedema, anaphylaxis, immunodeficiencies, sinus disease, nasal polyps and more Offers testing modalities such as skin testing (percutaneous and intradermal), patch testing, spirometry, and food/medication challenges. Treatments plans can include SCIT, immunoglobulin replacement (IV and sub cut) and biologic therapies. See both pediatric and adult patients. Have the opportunity to interact with Optum colleagues in other specialties (Primary Care, ENT, Derm, GI, Pulm, etc) in our practice.   Call coverage is usually once a month for 7-10 days.  This includes nights and weekends.   Optum has dedicated departments that aid with prior authorizations and answering questions regarding coding and billing. Established volumes with the ability to see an average of 20 patients per day.

Required Qualifications: 

Unrestricted licensure in the state of New York or has New York application in process  Board Certification or board eligibility in Allergy & Immunology Active and unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain prior to start 

 

New York Residents Only: The salary range for this role is $ $281,002 to $426,720 per year. Salary Range is defined as total cash compensation at target. The actual range and pay mix of base and bonus is variable based upon experience and metric achievement. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
