Alloy Handler, BRS

Ensure policies, procedures, and all activities are carried out to support BRS goals and objectives in Alloys on their respective crew assignments.
Duties & Responsibilities:Ensure Safety, Environmental, Quality requirements and “where applicable” ResponsibleSteelrequirements are followed.Capable of conducting Alloy responsibilities in a safe mannerMonitor and inspect incoming deliveries in accordance with requirementsEnsure good housekeeping practices are carried out throughout job areas and groundsCoordinate with scale house, operations and downstream operations with daily activitiesSupport other departments as needed to strengthen BRS profitability and continual improvement efforts.Assist shift supervisor in achieving operational goals and ensuring crew safety while developing the skills.Qualifications:Quality and detail orientedStrong technical and analytical/ problem solving skills/ mechanically inclinedGood insight into team dynamics and positive team playerGood verbal communication skills; computer literateAbility to routinely lift and move objects during shiftHigh School diploma or equivalent; college degree is a plusPrevious related experience preferredWorking Conditions and Physical Requirements:
This position requires the ability to routinely work in a hot environment with scheduled 12 rotating shifts, across weekends and published holidays. This position also requires repetitive stretching, reaching, walking and lifting 50# to support routine responsibilities.
