About This Career Opportunity

The Move In Coordinator is an integral part of the Sales and Marketing department. This position contributes to the enhancement of revenue and occupancy by overseeing efficient move-in procedures from the moment a deposit is made until the actual move-in occurs in Assisted Living communities. Additionally, this role acts as an essential support member of the sales team in the absence of the Sales and Marketing Director.


Responsibilities

Provide prompt assistance to incoming residents in all aspects of their transition and relocation to the property.  Organize and complete the necessary paperwork for new residents, including required documentation and residency agreements.  Facilitate the orientation process for new residents and conduct follow-up communications post-move to guarantee a positive experience for both residents and their families.  Conduct weekly follow-ups with new residents and their families to ensure a seamless integration into the community.  Coordinate communication across various departments and buildings to ensure that all move-ins and transfers are executed efficiently while delivering exceptional customer service.  Oversee and manage the inventory of apartments while coordinating the preparation of designated apartments to ensure they are ready for new residents. Prepare and maintain key occupancy and marketing reports in collaboration with the Sales and Marketing Director. Support the Sales and Marketing Director in handling inquiries via phone and email from potential residents, their families, and depositors, directing them to appropriate personnel when required. Conduct community tours and respond to inquiry calls in the absence of the marketing team. Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing Director to develop and revise resources and marketing materials for residents and their family members. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.


Qualifications – Position Requirements

At least 18 years of age. Cleared Criminal Record clearance through the Department of Social Services prior to presence in the community. Health screening and TB test results not older than 6 months. Current First Aid Training and Certifications as per Title 22.
Bachelors degree preferred. Prefer at least one year of experience working with elder adults, ideally within the senior living industry. Skilled in utilizing MS Office applications
To ensure the health and safety of both our team members and residents, Elder Care Alliance may mandate that team members receive vaccinations, engage in daily screenings, undergo surveillance testing, and utilize face coverings along with other personal protective equipment (PPE) in accordance with regulatory guidelines to mitigate the transmission of infectious diseases.


Skills and Attributes

Awareness and understanding of engaging with older adults, the aging process, and the social implications associated with aging. Ability to identify need, develop, and manage programs and systems simultaneously.  Knowledge about dementia is highly desirable. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  Knowledge of the aging process and implications of aging in a social setting.  Expertise in applying relevant theories and practices concerning aging individuals. Must understand health care environment and the medical considerations for older adults. Ability to communicate professionally with residents, families, colleagues, and team members in a multi-cultural environment. Proven excellence in customer service and organizational skills. Skilled in engaging and interacting with individuals experiencing cognitive challenges. Capable of demonstrating adaptability, making informed decisions under pressure, and effectively prioritizing tasks and projects.
