The Alpha Implementation Project Manager is expected to operate as a leader to plan, prioritize and coordinate the implementation of new Alpha client business. Qualified applicants should have prior experience managing large complex programs, be at ease leading others with no hierarchical connection, and should be comfortable working in a high growth, fast paced environment. Applicants must hold Project Management qualifications and demonstrate experience managing organizations through significant transformation and change and developing relationships at executive levels.

What you will be responsible for
As a Alpha Implementation Project Manager you will be responsible for creating the ensuring delivery verses the agreed plan of one or more implementation programs. You will supervise other members of the project and inform executives on progress and performance. A successful project manager must have an excellent knowledge of program management principles, experience leading organizations through transformational change and the ability to build relationships and engage effectively at executive and c-suite levels. The goal is to ensure every program will be delivered successfully and add the highest possible value to our clients and the organization

Consult with Clients to understand their strategy, business objectives, operating model needs and challenges. Provide subject matter expertise and industry experience to participate in Alpha solution discussions.Create program plans inclusive of State Street, client and critical 3rd party tasks.Manage program milestones and dependencies support agreed upon scope and timeline. Develop and monitor budgets, forecasting and resource allocations for the programEstablish Project Governance both internally and with the client ensuring all stakeholders are communicated with frequently and appropriatelyDrive the client, Alpha Implementation managers and critical 3rd parties to execute against their tasks and milestones; drive proper governance and program reportingDrive a high performing culture across the program teams in which people operate to deliver client outcomes with a One State Street mindset.  Implement standard change control process, deploy and maintain risk, issue and decision logsEnsure program activities adhere to legal guidelines and internal policiesBuild and manage relationships with the client and all stakeholders

Education & Preferred Qualifications

Demonstrated experience leading large transformational programsHold Project Management qualificationsStrong understanding of financial markets and investment management processes, including back office functions. Experience with front-to-back investment servicing and operations functions is preferred.Knowledge of front and middle office technology is an advantage. Charles River, Blackrock Aladdin, Thinkfolio, SimCorp Dimension, Markit EDM, Eagle Pace, etc.Ability to travel across the region as required
