**Job Description** **AltaGas - Senior Communications Advisor** In this role, you execute on dynamic communication strategies that advance our organizational goals, specifically supporting our Midstream Business Unit. Your expertise will be pivotal in shaping our narrative, engaging stakeholders, and enhancing our reputation. **You Will:** + Assist with Strategic Support of Midstream Business Unit: Develop and implement communication strategies that align with the organization’s goals and objectives + Execute crisis communication plans to address issues that could impact the organization’s reputation, ensuring timely and transparent messaging + Content Creation: Produce a variety of communication materials, including newsletters, speeches, presentations, and reports, tailored to different audiences + Coordinate Event Management: Organize and assist with corporate events, such as town halls and speaking engagements + Engage Internal Stakeholders: Identify and engage with key stakeholders to build relationships and gather feedback, fostering a positive organizational culture + Monitor and Analyze: Track media coverage and public sentiment, analyze communication effectiveness, and use data to inform future strategies + Provide issues management support in response to business needs across the Midstream portfolio **You Have:** + 5-7 Years experience in communications + Proven experience in corporate communications, preferably within the energy industry + Strong understanding of midstream operations and industry-specific communication challenges + Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic communication plans + Proficiency in content creation and event management + Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to drive communication strategies + Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders **For Canadian hires** : AltaGas hires personnel on the basis of job-related qualifications.
