Abacus Technology is seeking an Alternate Site Manager to oversee a team of IT and telecommunications support staff for Picatinny Arsenal.  This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. Identify resources needed and assign individual responsibilities. Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope. Prepare for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures. Minimize project exposure and risk. Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately. Manage project against mutually agreed upon milestones. Track and report team hours and expense as required. Manage project budget. Determine appropriate revenue recognition, ensure timely and accurate invoicing, and monitor receivables for project. Facilitate team and client meetings effectively. Hold regular status meetings with project team. Effectively communicate relevant project information to superiors. Identify and research new and emerging technologies and the potential application on client engagements. Manage day-to-day client interaction. Qualifications

6+ years experience managing IT and telecommunications projects in a DoD environment.  Bachelor’s degree in a related field.  Must be Security+ and PMP certified.  Extensive experience supporting voice and data networks.  Experience with ISP/OSP, hardware interfacing, and data communications.  Experience in implementing ITIL, ITSM; compliance with Army IT Metrics program; and C4/IM/AITP service delivery standards.  Knowledge and experience implementing quality assurance/control and safety programs and processes within telecom industry.  Experience leading a technical team in an enterprise-level environment and comfortable providing direction and guidance to others.  Able to demonstrate strong interpersonal, and verbal and written communications skills to work effectively across the program, and to accurately represent technical management perspectives to program management and government representatives.  Experience with DoD systems and military protocols preferred.  Able to provide clear and concise directions to staff regarding project execution.  Must be a US citizen with an active Secret clearance.
