CiTI BOCES is seeking a dedicated and passionate Alternative Education High School Math Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing high-quality education and support to students in an alternative education setting. The setting will be a combination of direct classroom instruction and integration of instruction into vocational classes. This role requires a dynamic individual who can adapt to diverse learning styles and needs, fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Job Qualifications + Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). + Valid New York State teaching certification in Mathematics. + Experience working in an alternative education setting is highly desirable. + Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. + Commitment to continuous improvement and professional growth.
