**Aluminum Welder** **Responsibilities** + Measure, cut, and weld aluminum to produce bases and frames of trailers. + Read and follow blueprints and work orders to meet customer demands. + Weld various parts of the trailer, ensuring proper bead size and structural integrity. + Obtain raw materials from Material Handlers. + Buff out rough edges using a hand-held power grinder. + Notify supervisor of any mechanical or material issues, including defects and deviations from work orders. + Ensure finished products meet quality expectations and strive for continuous improvement. + Maintain a clean and safe work area, minimize scrap, return unused material to appropriate areas, and dispose of waste properly. + Follow all safety procedures, wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and report any accidents or near misses to the supervisor immediately. + Perform other related duties and assignments as needed. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with TIG and MIG welding. + Experience in aluminum welding and fabrication. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based near Hartford, Wisconsin. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00 • Medical, dental & vision • Critical Illness, Accident, and Hospital • 401(k) Retirement Plan – Pre-tax and Roth post-tax contributions available • Life Insurance (Voluntary Life & AD&D for the employee and dependents) • Short and long-term disability • Health Spending Account (HSA) • Transportation benefits • Employee Assistance Program • Time Off/Leave (PTO, Vacation or Sick Leave) **Workplace Type** This is a fully onsite position in Hartford,WI. **Application Deadline** This position will be accepting applications until Feb 4, 2025. **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
