Overview We are seeking a friendly and attentive Breakfast Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and clearing meal services, ensuring the buffet is fully stocked at all times, and communicating customers' food orders. Additionally, the Breakfast Attendant should be able to promptly address customers' queries and complaints. Position Overview: The AM Server is responsible for providing excellent dining service to hotel guests during the breakfast shifts. This role ensures a welcoming atmosphere, prompt service, and high-quality guest experiences, while maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dining area. Key Responsibilities: Guest Service: Greet guests promptly and courteously, ensuring a warm and friendly welcome. Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them to the kitchen staff. Deliver food and beverages efficiently and ensure guest satisfaction throughout the meal. Address guest inquiries, complaints, or special requests with professionalism and courtesy. Preparation and Maintenance: Set up tables with clean linens, silverware, glassware, and condiments before service begins. Ensure the dining area is clean and well-stocked at all times. Perform opening and closing duties, including restocking supplies, polishing utensils, and maintaining organization. Team Collaboration: Work closely with other servers, hosts, kitchen staff, and management to provide seamless service. Assist colleagues during busy periods to ensure efficient operation of the restaurant. Compliance and Safety: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices. Follow hotel policies and procedures to ensure compliance with standards. Upselling and Revenue Contribution: Recommend menu items and daily specials to guests. Upsell beverages, desserts, and additional courses to enhance the guest experience and increase revenue. Qualifications: Previous serving experience in a restaurant, hotel, or similar setting is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of food and beverage service standards. Must be punctual, reliable, and have a professional appearance. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Capable of lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds. Comfortable working in a dynamic and sometimes noisy environment. Schedule: Morning shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
