Amazon Sales Specialist

Summary of Responsibilities: Reporting to the Key Account Manager for Amazon, this position is accountable for providing day-to-day management and administrative functions that support all Chervon activities on Amazon. Key Job Responsibilities:  + Support all activities on Amazon regarding Chervon or Amazon promotions + Sets up new items on Amazon, working with the E-commerce team to acquire the right content and digital assets to maintain A+ Premium content standards + Processes purchase orders from Amazon and G10, including working with finance on financial issues and championing inventory availability for Amazon listings with operations to insure timely shipments and adequate inventory for promotions + Produces reports for management on Amazon activities, including sales performance, forecasting, inventory, and other key metrics + Researches competitive activity on Amazon and recommends appropriate marketing responses + Monitors intellectual property rights on Amazon by finding, reporting, and  taking appropriate actions with Amazon and Chervon legal regarding counterfeit batteries, unauthorized use of images and copy, etc. + Develops and maintains good working relationships with key Amazon personnel in OPE, Hazmat and Power Tools areas to facilitate smooth operations of the account. Works directly with the vendor managers and customer success manager at Amazon to address issues. Makes decisions and follows through on corrective actions by Amazon and Chervon + Manages new projects identified by Amazon and Chervon deriving from Joint Business Planning meetings to improve operational efficiencies and product margins + Coordinates  meetings between Chervon and Amazon, including agenda, format, and logistics + Works collaboratively with the Amazon Back End Account Management (BEAM) team in Nanjing on all promotions, budgets, and analysis needs. Excellent decision-making abilities in a fast-moving environment. + Attention to detail – this position requires the highest level of accuracy in processing data, reporting, and producing content for Amazon. + Strong interpersonal skills – this position works cross-functionally within Chervon. + Computer skills + Analytical ability to identify and solve problems. Required Education and Experience: + Bachelor’s degree in marketing, or 2-3 years of work experience in ecommerce. + Previous experience at a company selling on Amazon preferred. + Working knowledge of online business fundamentals. + Demonstrated experience and productivity in a fast-paced environment. + Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Supervisory Responsibility: This position is not responsible for supervising other employees.     Travel: This position may require occasional travel (up to 10%) for meetings with Amazon. Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment and is flexible with our team member’s work life balance.
