Job Description Summary:
.Logan Health is searching for an enthusiastic and dynamic Ambulatory Educator to lead the education and competency development of clinical staff across our 52 outpatient clinics. In this impactful role, you’ll design, implement, and manage cutting-edge clinical education programs that align with national standards and regulatory best practices. You'll collaborate with leadership and frontline staff to drive excellence in patient care, elevate professional development, and optimize clinic efficiency. Key Responsibilities:Develop, implement, and oversee clinical education programs for ambulatory settings.
Provide training and support to Medical Assistants (MAs), LPNs, and RNs to enhance their clinical competencies.
Collaborate with leadership to assess educational needs and create development plans.
Ensure compliance with national and state practice standards and organizational goals.
Foster an environment of continuous learning and professional growth.
Work closely with clinic leadership to bridge the gap between clinical expertise and operational management.
Serve as a resource for preceptors, mentors, and new hires to ensure successful onboarding and retention.
Maintain up-to-date documentation of training, certifications, and compliance records.
Ad hoc projects as needed, supporting various initiatives to improve clinical education and staff development.
Travel Requirement: Up to 25% local travel to area clinics.
Basic Qualifications:Experience:
5+ years of relevant clinical nursing experience.
Active RN License:Current Montana RN license or multi-state compact license with authorization to practice in Montana.
Certifications:Must achieve and maintain certification in nationally recognized skills courses (e.g., BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS) within six (6) months of hire.
Skills & Competencies:Strong technical literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams), electronic medical records (EMRs), learning management systems, and other relevant technologies.
Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications: Education:Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or related field.
Experience:3+ years of experience in clinical education, training, or professional development.
Certification:Nursing Professional Development (NPD) certification.
Skills & Competencies:Exceptional communication, collaboration, and customer service skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
Demonstrated leadership and ability to drive change within an organization.

This position is full-time, 36 hours per week, and is based in Kalispell, Montana.
