Ambulatory Pharmacy Technician for the Pharmacotherapy Clinic at Providence St Vincent Medical Center in Portland, OR.

Full-Time/Day Shift

The Ambulatory Pharmacy Technician plays a key role in supporting  Ambulatory Clinical Pharmacist practice thru handling appointments, gathering and documentation of patient information through interviews with patients, families, caregivers, pharmacies, and medical providers. This role provides expertise in prior authorizations as applicable and may administer vaccines when in scope for the practice site.

Required qualifications:

H.S. Diploma or GED. upon hire: Oregon Certified Oregon Pharmacy Technician. Or upon hire: Oregon Pharmacy Technician License (Vendor Managed) within 2 years of hire: National Certified Pharmacy Technician certification within 2 years of hire as applicable. 2 years Pharmacy Technician experience

 

Preferred qualifications:

1 year Customer Service experience
