Ambulatory Pharmacy Technician Lead

Position Overview:

Coordinates the overall operation of the Pharmacy Technicians, including staffing and work assignments of the technicians. Serves as the liaison between the department and staff, Information Systems, physicians, patients, family and other site staff. Performs pharmaceutical procedures for medication preparation and distribution that ensures safe, effective, and cost efficient medication therapy. Exercises sound judgment, and developed clinical skills to provide pharmaceutical support to the patient's plan of care based on the diagnosis in a timely manner. Adheres to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies and procedures to ensure privacy and safety. May also be responsible for performing specific procedures and/or teaching duties.

Pay Range is $39.62 to $49.52 / hour

The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location.
