Duties and Responsibilities:
· Supporting the plants in their development and the optimization of manufacturing processes. Plant locations: Europe, UK and Israel
· Collaborate with the manufacturing team to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings across regional manufacturing operations.
· Design, implement and monitor the execution of automation & productivity projects within the plants, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget.
· Monitor and report on the progress of automation & productivity projects, identifying any issues or delays and developing solutions to address them.
· Build and maintain close relationships with Mfg. sites, critical business support functions in region and critical strategic external automation partners/suppliers.
· Implement and oversee the execution of productivity projects within the plants, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget.
· Develop and execute training programs to upskill plant engineering staff, ensuring they are equipped with the latest manufacturing engineering techniques and practices.
· Support Strategy/Footprint team when required for any product equipment transfers.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in engineering and minimum 4 years manufacturing experience
· Mfg. Automation & Process Knowledge:
o Design Automation
o Robotics
o Injection molding
· Ability to prioritize and manage time and projects effectively with a passion for excellence
· Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow
· Basic understanding of general LEAN principals, manufacturing principles, DFM, and DFA
· Interpersonal and effective communication skills
· Troubleshooting and assessing skills
· Ability to prioritize and manage time and projects effectively with a passion for excellence
· Desire to work collaboratively
· Ability to travel up to 60% in region & international
· English
· Knowledge of robot programming a plus
· Knowledge of PLC progra
