Americas Asset Servicing Senior Vice President – Simplification & Standardization
**Organization Overview:** Global Custody Operations has approximately 2,200 staff in 50 plus countries and budget of over $160mm, global revenue of $2bn with over 1,000 clients. Global Custody Operations is going through an exciting transformation with both operation and business strategy. The group is comprised of Asset Servicing, Transaction Management, Tax, Risk & Control and Operational Readiness. **Job Purpose :** The Asset Servicing senior manager role is within the Custody Operations Group for Securities Services Operations. Asset Servicing is represented Globally across the NAM, LATAM, EMEA and APAC regions. The Asset Servicing department is an integral part of Securities Services and has responsibility for processing Corporate Actions, Income, Event Capture and Proxy events. It is one of the highest risk areas within operations. The role requires the individual to have extensive SME knowledge in Asset Servicing inclusive of controls and proactive risk management practices. Proven track record in implementing systemic Asset Services risk management and oversight controls essential. Strong commercial awareness is a necessity. Excellent communication skills are required to negotiate internally and externally, often at a senior level. Applies in-depth understanding of the business impact of technical contributions and generally accountable for delivery of a full range of services to one or more businesses/ geographic regions. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the execution of Global Simplification and Standardization aligning to the Asset Servicing, Custody Ops and Citi strategy. **Organizational Risk Oversight:** + Senior Asset Servicing Manager for operations simplification, consistency, and standardization + Define and execute risk reduction initiatives and proactive risk management tools including but not limited to executive dashboards, work flow and exception management in partnership with Custody Ops Transformation team, Technology, Product and Regional Asset Servicing Heads. + Define and execute the standards and best practices for Global Asset Servicing processes and controls. Identify any gaps, assess approach to close and execute remediation to achieve global consistency. + Key lead for deep dive SME process and control reviews. + Partner with regional Asset Servicing heads on the execution of achieving the Global standards and define appropriate timeframes whilst proactively considering any impact to processing and clients. + Senior AS Ops Manager for any Ops Risk Management process and control reviews partnering with risk & control, product and technology. + Execute on process and control enhancements identified by process re-engineering and deep dives. + Partner with BAU processing leads to drive the execution of the global simplification strategy. **People & Culture Agenda:** + Continue to contribute to the overall firms Culture and Talent Goals. + Contribute to the execution of the People and Engagement strategy. + Lead and co-ordinate change following VOE results. + Establish and contribute to Global Training Framework. Adhere to Training approach for new starts with training modules and training plans.
