Reporting to the Head of Global Rewards, the Americas Benefits and Global Mobility Leader will serve as a key thought partner in the design, development, execution, communication and administration of the Americas Benefit programs as well as the Mobility programs globally.
America’s benefit programs include Health & Welfare, leaves, disability, retirement savings, deferred compensation, and voluntary benefit programs for the United States and Canada.
In order to excel, you’ll be both a strategic and practical thought leader, finding ways to enhance the employee value proposition, reduce costs where feasible, improve processes, and manage high performing, efficient and value adding vendor relationships. You’ll also develop collaborative relationships with others in the HR, Legal, M&A, Labor Relations, Finance, Tax, Procurement and Business Management areas.
Responsibilities:
Benefit responsibilities include oversight of Americas health and retirement programs working with internal and external resources to ensure offerings are aligned with market competitiveness, overall Rewards and Company strategy, and in compliance with applicable country regulations.Serve as an innovative HR thought leader, keeping up-to-date on emerging marketplace trends and practices. Monitors costs, employee satisfaction and engagement levels, claim trends and other key statistics, recommending appropriate changes to deliver optimal benefits and mobility program results.Oversee the selection and management of vendors, consultants and carriers; ensuring these partners meet performance expectations; evaluating and negotiating contracts, ensuring best value for cost.Develop engaging, easy to understand employee communications. Maintain communication platforms that are easy to navigate and content that is informative, timely, crisp where possible, visually appealing, and reflective of the DuPont key tenets.Responsible for H&W Annual Enrollment, new hire enrollment, leave and termination benefit processes, transferee relocation and tax support processes, and similar change event administration.Ownership of annual benefits budget and fringe information.Responsible for compliance with respect to all benefit programs. This includes, but is not limited to, Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA), Affordable Care Act (ACA), Pension Protection Act (PPA), Internal Revenue Code, Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). File timely 5500’s and complete all other required filings and notices (e.g., PCORI, SARS, SPDs, SMMs).Monitor ongoing and developing legislation to ensure timely compliance with changing regulations.Responsible for overseeing international healthcare plan for expats/inpats. Develop collaborative relationships with HR, Legal, M&A, Labor Relations, Finance, Tax, Procurement and Business Management.Foster robust Global Well-Being programs and strategy partnering with Region Reward Leaders.Support M&A activity, including benefits due diligence, integration and change management.Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree, master’s degree and/or CEBS certification preferred.Minimum of 7+ years of relevant and progressive professional employee benefits experience, including strategic oversight of complex self-insured and large group insurance programsDeep knowledge of U.S. benefit plan design, administration and compliance requirements.Strong financial acumen and quantitative skills and the ability to use data analysis to derive insights and support fact-based decision making.Experience with Canadian benefit plans strongly preferred.Ability to support business processes related to benefits; negotiate contract renewals and costing of new business proposals.Ability to build relationships, partner and influence outcomes across human resources, finance, operations business leaders and senior management.Ability to analyze complex situations, determine root cause and resolve accordingly and within the guidelines of legal parameters, benefit plan rules, and Company policy.Excellent administrative, organization and interpersonal skills; ability to support all levels of the organization.Strong working knowledge of US Federal regulations (ERISA), Internal Revenue Code (IRC), Department of Labor (DOL) and other regulatory agencies that impact benefit programs.Competency in MSOffice suite; Excel, Word, PowerPointJoin our Talent Community to stay connected with us!
