Key Responsibilities:
Team Management:
Manage a team of engineers and technicians, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure optimal performance.Allocate resources effectively to meet project deadlines and operational requirements.Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify training and development needs for team members.Facility Maintenance and Repair:
Oversee the maintenance, repair, and improvement of all facilities and equipment within the region.Develop comprehensive preventive maintenance programs to ensure optimal equipment performance and longevity.Coordinate with facility managers and vendors to schedule and prioritize repair activities.Regulatory Compliance and Safety:
Ensure compliance with all applicable safety and regulatory standards.Stay updated on relevant codes, laws, and industry trends to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.Implement and monitor safety programs, policies, and procedures.Capital Projects Management:
Lead and manage capital projects, including expansions, renovations, and upgrades, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to develop project plans, oversee implementation, and ensure quality of work.Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions as necessary.Operational Efficiency:
Develop and implement strategies to optimize operational efficiency and reduce costs within the region.Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to measure and track operational performance.Stakeholder Engagement:
Collaborate with regional directors, facility managers, and cross-functional teams to align engineering initiatives with organizational objectives.Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and building strong relationships.Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
