Duties and Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:Maintain accurate records of inventory levels.Ensure data accuracy and update the NASA SAP equipment inventory database.Conduct regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies.Utilize inventory management software to track inventory movement.Inventory Control Policies:Develop and implement inventory control policies and procedures in alignment with organizational goals and objectives.Ensure SAP related data processing activities meet or exceed Personal Property Management requirements.Apply decals to all incoming NASA-owned equipment as required. Forward and input documentation to the Government equipment email box.Process excess turn-in documentation for all controlled and non-controlled NASA excess equipment and materials.Review, reconcile, adjust, and process all SAP Inventory transactions.Process Survey Reports for all missing NASA equipment (NASA form 598).Process Property passes and Equipment loans, submitting documentation to the Government Equipment Manager.Perform an annual inventory of all property controlled by NASA Ames.Process and coordinate Equipment Transfers to other NASA Centers.Staff Support:Provide guidance and support to staff involved in inventory management activities.Train team members on inventory control processes and procedures.Collaborate with various NASA codes and customers to address specific inventory needs and requirements.Compliance and Reporting:Ensure adherence to NASA's inventory management protocols and regulations.Utilize SAP and other relevant inventory management systems extensively to manage equipment and run reports.Provide monthly and annual reports for ARC supply quantity levels, receipts, issues, and other project activities.PREFERENCE STATEMENT
