To be a successful AML Analyst, you should have experience with:
Suspicious Activity Reports (SAR)
Politically Exposed Persons (PEP)
Fraud investigation techniques
Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)
KYC, CDD, EDD Research
AML/BSA Certifications preferred

Purpose of the role
To support Transaction Monitoring with investigating and reporting suspicious activity to the NCA when necessary.
Accountabilities
Support with day-to-day Transaction Monitoring initiatives including, reviewing, investigating and reporting through AML expertise.Execution of monitoring checks on customers, transactions, and other activities to identify potential risks and comply with regulatory requirements.Management of issues and alerts arising from transition monitoring tests, including the investigation and resolution of each incident.Collaboration with teams across the bank to align and integrate Transaction Monitoring processes.Identification of areas for improvement and providing recommendations for change in Transaction Monitoring processes.Development and implementation of Transaction Monitoring procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency.Identification of industry trends and developments to implement best practice in Transaction Monitoring Services.Participation in projects and initiatives to improve Transaction Monitoring efficiency and effectiveness.Analyst Expectations
