We are looking for our AML Assistant Belgium & Luxembourg. The role is based in Brussels.

The Role

As the AML Assistant BeLux, you will provide support to our Real Estate transaction Consultants located in Belgium and Luxembourg.

Based in Brussels, you will work closely with the Consultants, their Managers / Directors and also with the Legal and Compliance department, located in Paris.

As such, you will be mainly responsible for:

Accompany consultants and collect with them the documents and information required by law from our Belgian, Luxembourg and foreign customers, in line with our obligations against money laundering, terrorist financing and tax fraud,Ensure that all necessary documents are collected (completeness and compliance of files),If necessary, search for documentation on external information databases,Compile and archive AML files in compliance with internal procedures,Manage customer follow-ups by e-mail or phone, in line with consultants' recommendations,Assist consultants in reading and analyzing documents collected from our customers and in identifying risk situations automating systematic escalation to the Legal and Compliance Department or referral to the Customer Acceptance Committee,Participate in weekly AML activity monitoring meetings to keep abreast of legal news and developments in relation to the AML system, and to exchange best practices with other AML officers,Report to the Compliance Department on the progress of regional teams' AML activities,Update the mandatory compliance fields in our various tools.

Sound like you? To apply you need to be / have

1st experience assisting a team on the administrative tasks (collecting documents, reminding customers...),Knowledge of the Real Estate market and in corporate law is a plus,Excellent command of the Office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook),Fluent in French, English AND Dutch,Strong analytical skills, dynamic and rigorous,Highly autonomous and proactive,Strong organizational skills (management of AML diligences for numerous teams, some of which are remote),Respect for confidentiality and discretion,Good interpersonal skills and sense of teamwork (internal and external contacts- Communication skills such as diplomacy and firmness)
