AML Compliance Consultant (Equities)

We are seeking a highly skilled AML Compliance Analyst with experience in equities and strong experience in identifying, interpreting, and reporting instances of suspicious activity. The ideal candidate will work within our compliance team to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies pertaining to anti-money laundering (AML) and other compliance obligations. This opportunity is hybrid, 3 days a week onsite is required.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Suspicious Activity Reporting (SAR): Conduct thorough investigations of potentially suspicious transactions and activities, utilizing investigative techniques to complete and recommend SARs in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
+ Equities Analysis: Leverage expertise in equities to analyze trading patterns and market behaviors, identifying anomalies that may indicate potential regulatory breaches or suspicious activity.
+ Monitor Transactions: Continuously monitor daily trading activities and account transactions to identify and escalate any red flags or unusual patterns that require further investigation.
+ Regulatory Compliance: Stay up-to-date with relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices related to AML and securities regulations to ensure compliance across all operations.
+ Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of findings, analysis, and SAR submissions. Prepare comprehensive reports for management and regulatory authorities as necessary.
+ Collaboration and Training: Collaborate with other teams, including legal and risk management, to address compliance issues. Provide training and support to staff on recognizing and reporting suspicious activities.
Qualifications:
+ Bachelors degree preferred in relevant discipline.
+ 3-5 years of AML Investigation experience at a large bank or wealth management firm is required.
+ SAR writing experience is required for this position.
+ Equities experience in an AML related role is required for this opportunity.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $50.00/hr.
