Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Ammonia Refrigeration Technician to manage and oversee the Management of Change (MOC) process, ensure compliance with Process Safety Management (PSM) programs, and maintain the refrigeration and ammonia systems. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and process improvement, as well as experience with SAP software.
ResponsibilitiesManage the Management of Change (MOC) process.Coordinate and ensure all Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) are performed as required.Ensure the PSM program is always audit ready.Conduct and document monthly PSM team meetings.Participate in a 3-year PSM Compliance Audit at another facility at least once every three years.Schedule and coordinate quarterly updates for the facility manager and affected employees on all PHA open items.Schedule and coordinate quarterly updates to the facility manager and affected employees on all Compliance Audit open Exceptions and Recommendations.Schedule and coordinate quarterly updates to the facility manager and affected employees on all Mechanical Integrity Inspection open defects.Troubleshoot and repair issues with refrigeration and ammonia systems.Ensure proper preventive maintenance procedures are written with detailed long text and revised as necessary on all ammonia equipment.Essential SkillsProficiency in troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.Experience with process improvement.Knowledge of SAP software.Proficiency with Word and Excel software applications.High School Diploma (or equivalent).A minimum of five years of experience working with ammonia refrigeration systems and associated PSM requirements.Technical knowledge of refrigeration and maintenance systems, equipment installation/startups, and plant utility equipment.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with AutoCAD is helpful.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
This position has one opening on the 1st shift. The work environment is a Foods/GMP environment where you will be required to wear hair nets, hard hats, safety glasses, ear plugs, steel-toed shoes, and a smock. Some areas of the plant are refrigerated or temperature-controlled, and there is a slight smell of vinegar.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00
