**Job Title: Ammonia Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Ammonia Technician to perform repairs, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting on ammonia systems. The ideal candidate will have experience with ammonia refrigeration equipment and a strong mechanical aptitude. **Responsibilities** + Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on ammonia systems. + Troubleshoot and repair ammonia systems. + Conduct preventive maintenance and take readings on the system. + Maintain and repair refrigeration equipment. **Essential Skills** + Experience as an Ammonia Technician. + Ability to troubleshoot and repair ammonia systems. + Proficiency in preventive maintenance and taking system readings. + Mechanical aptitude and experience with refrigeration equipment. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High School Diploma or GED. + Technical certification or associate degree in a relevant field of study to maintenance is a plus. + Experience in food manufacturing or GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) is a huge plus. + Willingness to grow into an ammonia technician role if currently a refrigeration or maintenance technician. **Why Work Here?** Join a new company in the area with significant opportunities for personal and professional growth. The environment is refrigerated, and you will work on either the 1st shift (5am-5:30pm) or the 3rd shift (5pm-5am), averaging 48 hours per week over 5-6 days. Tools will be provided, both basic and specialty, but candidates may bring their own basic tools if preferred. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
