We are looking for an experienced Ammunition and Explosives (A&E) Analyst who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment to provide essential support to our government client. In this role, you will work closely with mid to senior-level government officials, delivering a wide range of programmatic functions. Your primary responsibilities will include the safe and effective oversight of ammunition and explosives, covering handling, storage, transportation, and disposal, all in compliance with military regulations and safety standards. The AE Analyst will evaluate and enhance AE programs across various facilities, offering recommendations for the improvement of complex experimental program management processes and systems. You will analyze the impact of new or revised explosive, occupational safety, and environmental guidelines on Directorate programs and resources. Additionally, you will contribute to team studies focused on facility upgrades or significant improvements, which may require considerable agency resources or changes to existing procedures, coordinating with senior leadership to implement proposed solutions. This role demands comprehensive knowledge of Army explosive and occupational safety and environmental objectives, methodologies for assessing the value of experimental program outcomes against technical, financial, and administrative targets, and familiarity with support service contracting policies relevant to experimental support functions. You will be expected to apply appropriate risk assessment methodologies and develop detailed hazard analyses to ensure comprehensive safety oversight.
