Analog Design, Sr Staff Engineer
Synopsys is seeking a lead Signal and Power Integrity Engineer to perform SI/PI analysis for its Marketing case studies involving High-speed SERDES IPs (112G, 224G). Candidates with a can-do attitude, quick learning ability, and excellent team player skills are welcome. You will be working with a group of highly skilled, supportive, and globally spread-out teams. 
   
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Support customers by addressing SIPI-related questions and improving the SIPI application notePerforming SI/PI analysis for E112, E224, PCIE6 PHYs, and other Highspeed protocols. Collaborate with internal teams to improve PHY products, deliverables, collaterals, and methodology
Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience Proficient in Transmission line theory and time/frequency-domain analysis Experienced with SPICE and familiar with 3D field solvers Conversant with PCIe and Ethernet interfaces. Exposure to DDR/UCIE interfaces and various 2.5D/3D Packaging technologies are a bonus Good verbal and written English communication skills Experience in scripting languages such as Python and TCL is a plus Familiarity with both Windows and Linux operating systems

The base salary range across the U.S. for this role is between $154,000-$230,000. In addition, this role may be eligible for an annual bonus, equity, and other discretionary bonuses.
