At Synopsys, we’re at the heart of the innovations that change the way we work and play. Self-Driving cars. Artificial Intelligence. Cloud. 5G. Internet of Things. These breakthroughs are ushering in the Era of Smart Everything. We power it all with the world’s most advanced technologies for chip design and software security.
Our IP business is all about building high-performance chips - faster. We’re the world’s leading provider of Interface IP. Our IPs enable our customers achieve their goal in an accelerated schedule.
If you share our passion for leading edge technology and innovation, first-time right designs, we want to meet you.
Analog Design Engineer, Staff
We are looking for full-time A&MS Design Engineer to join our SERDES high performance/high-speed design team.
This role involves design and optimizing mixed-signal circuits for best Power, Performance and Area.
You’d leverage your understanding in microelectronics from transistor to topology levels, from schematic to layout, from simulations to the lab. You'll deal with all reliability concerns of a design.
Does this sound like a good role for you?
Main responsibilities Analog Design, test bench and specification generation and documentation;Simulation of analog or mixed-signal circuits to ensure that performance, noise, timing, and power requirements are satisfied including worst-case and/or statistical design verification and de-rating analysisLayout coordination, follow-up and validation;Assurance of all the robustness and quality related aspects for high production yield;Design review preparation and presentation;System level usability;Collaboration with verification, process, test, and application engineering teams;Silicon correlation study;Follow-up of junior engineers.
