Job Description

This is an opportunity to join a top-notch Power Design Team within Renesas Electronics America’s leading power management product line. As part of one of Renesas’s most prominent BMS Design Groups, this Engineer will work on next-generation IC products for multiple fast paced consumer, industrial and automotive power products.

Job Responsibilities

Analog and Power design of integrated circuit development projectsHands-on block level design from specification to clean databaseInterface with layout, verification, test, product and application engineers to successfully bring new products from initial concept through release to productionParticipate in discussions and draft documents of technical issues and other design aspects with internal teams and customersInstigate regular peer reviews with other analog engineersGuide the layout of circuit blocks for high-speed performance and precision operationsRun block-level and top-level mixed-mode simulations to meet datasheet parametersLab evaluation and support for circuit blocks/whole ICsSupport test development and ramp to production
Qualifications

 

BSEE (MSEE pref.) or equivalentDesign experience with several of the following is a plus: precision amplifiers, bandgap references, switching regulators, LDOs, DAC, system level simulationDesign experience in CMOS/BICMOS is a plusExperience working with small geometry BCD processes is a plusAdvanced knowledge of Mixed-Signal Cadence tools and parasitic-extraction is preferredMust have a written and verbal cross-functional communication skills
