Analog Layout Engineer Role Overview:
JSG is seeking an experienced Analog Layout Engineer for our client to lead a team in the design and production of high-quality analog and mixed-signal blocks. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, making critical floor-planning decisions, and ensuring all designs meet the required specifications and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities: Lead a team of layout engineers to create complex analog and mixed-signal circuits, ensuring high-quality output. Collaborate with project managers and design engineers to gather requirements and ensure design goals are met. Drive key floor-planning decisions and implement effective layout strategies for optimal circuit performance. Ensure designs align with project requirements and design guidelines throughout the process. Review and approve final layout designs for production readiness. Stay informed on the latest industry trends and advancements in design software and techniques. Attend project meetings and presentations, and contribute to project progress as needed. Qualifications & Skills: B.S. in Electrical Engineering (EE) with 8+ years of relevant industry experience, or equivalent expertise. Extensive experience in analog and mixed-signal layout design for deep submicron CMOS circuits, with recent experience on advanced nodes. Proficient in industry-standard design software, such as Cadence Virtuoso, Calibre DRC, and LVS. Strong understanding of layout design principles and best practices. Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills. Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills, both independently and as part of a team. Preferred Experience: Hands-on experience with key memory blocks like sense amplifiers, charge pumps, read/write assist circuits, PVT trackers, and power gating. Familiarity with memory controllers and memory interfaces. Experience with emerging non-volatile memory technologies.

Pay Range: $110,000 - $300,000/year (DOE)
