Analog/Mixed-Signal Behavioral Modeling Engineer Role Overview:
JSG is seeking an Analog/Mixed-Signal Behavioral Modeling Engineer for our client to develop SystemVerilog behavioral models for custom analog and mixed-signal circuits. This role involves close collaboration with circuit design and verification teams, ensuring accurate and efficient modeling to support high-performance IC design.
Key Responsibilities: Develop SystemVerilog behavioral models for custom analog and mixed-signal circuits. Work closely with circuit design teams to capture fine details of custom circuits. Collaborate with Design Verification teams to integrate effective verification hooks into models. Conduct simulations and equivalence checks to ensure models closely match actual circuit behavior. Develop scripts and automation tools to streamline repetitive tasks. Optimize models for accuracy and simulation efficiency. Analyze verification results and provide feedback to the design team. Document modeling methodologies and best practices for internal and external use. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in behavioral modeling techniques. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with 7+ years of industry experience or equivalent. Deep understanding of analog and mixed-signal circuit behavior. Strong expertise in Verilog/SystemVerilog, with experience writing both synthesizable and behavioral code. Solid knowledge of digital logic gates, clocking, and state elements. Proficiency in SPICE simulation, HDL simulation, and logic equivalence tools. Working knowledge of analog circuit architectures such as ADC, DAC, LDO, and charge pumps. Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Employment Type: Full-time
Pay Range: $110,000 - $300,000/year (DOE)
Location: Fremont, CA (On-site)
