Analog/Mixed-Signal IC Verification Engineer Role Overview:
JSG is looking for an experienced Mixed-Signal IC Verification Engineer for our client to contribute to the verification and validation of complex integrated circuits. In this role, you will design and implement verification strategies, write and execute test plans, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality and functionality of mixed-signal circuits.
Key Responsibilities: Develop comprehensive verification strategies and coverage plans for mixed-signal IC designs, tailored to architecture and specification needs. Design and build verification testbenches utilizing established verification languages and methodologies. Write and execute test cases to evaluate the functionality, performance, and reliability of analog and mixed-signal circuits. Review verification outcomes and provide actionable feedback to the design team to resolve issues. Work closely with design and layout teams to identify potential design issues and ensure smooth collaboration across all stages of development. Develop and enhance verification methodologies, tools, and techniques to ensure they are scalable and adaptable to future projects. Provide sign-off on mixed-signal designs in preparation for tapeout. Qualifications & Skills: B.S. in Electrical Engineering or a related field with 7+ years of industry experience or equivalent. Deep understanding of analog and mixed-signal circuit design and verification principles. Proven ability to develop test plans, communicate results effectively, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Familiarity with verification tools and methodologies such as simulators, waveform viewers, execution automation, and coverage collection. Strong programming skills in languages such as Perl, Python, or C. Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, with strong analytical capabilities. Effective communication and collaboration skills, working well within a team environment. Experience with analog behavioral models is a plus.

Pay Range: $110,000 - $300,000/year (DOE)
