In this role you will be responsible for High Voltage DC Power systems / Module design. Your experience should include multiple power topology design experience from a few watts to KW+ converters. To be considered for this role, you will have a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 5 years of job-related experience. Due to the nature of the work performed in this facility, US Citizenship is required. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: * High Voltage DC Power systems / Module design. * Multiple power topology design experience from few watts to KW+ converters. * High voltage applications, power transmission systems, power electronics and HVDC technology. * Solid use of electrical engineering concepts, principles, and theories. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 5 years of job-related experience. * Expert level understanding of electrical engineering computer-aided design (CAD) tools and mixed Signal circuit analysis/design. * Experience with the Mentor Graphics Tools Suite. * Circuit Design expertise. * Analog design and instrumentation (design and analysis). * Feedback / Control systems experience. * Power System architecture and grounding. * Isolated Switching Converters. * Transmission Line Effects in power systems. * EMI test and control methods (MIL-STD-461, FCC / IDE / VDE, etc.). * Magnetics Design and High-Speed Design experience are desirable. * Strong troubleshooting ability: must be able to diagnose a problem by narrowing the point of failure sequentially through components. * The use of specialized laboratory equipment such as spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and other test equipment for development, testing, and troubleshooting. * Experience in writing specifications, requirements, and verification procedures for complex electronic systems and components.
