Job Description

Under direct supervision responsible for creating corporate action notifications for all forms of voluntary corporate action events.

It is an entry level position with opportunity to develop professionally.

Responsible for vetting, sourcing, and creating all forms of voluntary corporate action events. Ensures day to day deliverables are met. Checklists are to be prepared and submitted to the next level on a daily basis. Responsible for identifying and resolving problems within established guidelines. Running and creating formal reports. Working towards becoming proficient in all areas of the job. Expected to use some initiative but refer more complex problems to supervisors/experts. Knowledgeable of the core aspects of the job. Works effectively as a team member but also independently.

Qualifications

Strong written and verbal communications skills required.Is highly organized and pays attention to detail; able to capture and locate information via note-taking and available technology tools.Advanced Excel skills preferred, and experience or familiarity with other Office 365 apps including: Word, SharePoint, OneNote, Teams.Analytical and problem-solving skills should be evident.Displays competencies including collaboration, curiosity, empathy, personal courage, self-awareness.A College or University degree and/or some relevant work experience is preferred but not necessary.

Salary Range:

$43,200 - 64,800 USD

Salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Northern Trust provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits (401k and pension), health and welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, spending accounts and disability), paid time off, parental and caregiver leave, life & accident insurance, and other voluntary and well-being benefits. Northern Trust also provides a discretionary bonus program that may include an equity component.
