Analyst, Corporate Accountant Job ID 183207 Posted 09-Sep-2024 Service line REI Segment Role type Full-time Areas of Interest Accounting/Finance, Investment Management Location(s) Radnor - Pennsylvania - United States of America **About the role** We are looking for an Analyst, Corporate Accountant to join our team! You will work along side the Finance Department of CBREIM LRA. The successful candidate will report directly to the CBREIM LRA Assistant Controller. **What you’ll do** + Complete comprehensive monthly close process for corporate advisor entities (including US Advisor entity and non-US subsidiaries). + Write and record journal entries to PeopleSoft general ledger. + Account for client billings by recording issued invoices, acquiring daily bank statements and recording client cash receipts. + Build and maintain consolidated fund reporting and CBRE co-investment reporting. + Maintain SOX requirements for the processes, workflows, and controls. + Build and review general ledger account balance reconciliations (along with supporting workpapers). + Prepare and maintain vender-level expense databases for actual results, forecasts, and budgets. + Implement budget to actual variance analysis along with well-written variance explanations. + Build and review financial reporting for management and external parties. + Provide support for annual audits and tax return preparation. + Participate in the preparation of annual budgeting and quarterly re-forecasting. \#CBREIM \#INDSJ **What you’ll need** + BS or BA degree - with a major of accounting preferred, but not required + 0-2 years’ work experience with public accounting firm and/ or corporate accounting + Strong knowledge of accounting concepts, trial balances, financial documents, and consolidations + Experience with PeopleSoft general ledger system a plus + Knowledge of investment accounting (equities) concepts and investment funds (mutual funds and private co-mingled funds) a plus \#CBREIM \#INDSJ **Equal Employment Opportunity:** CBRE is an equal opportunity employer that values diversity.
