Feel free to enrich both your personal and work life and hop on board! **Why you'll love this job** + This job is a part of the Accounting Automation team within our Finance division. + Responsible for providing support to Coupa users, Accounting Automation, Finance and Procurement groups. **What you'll do** _As noted above, this list is intended to reflect the current job but there may be additional essential functions (and certainly non-essential job functions) that are not referenced. Management will modify the job or require other tasks be performed whenever it is deemed appropriate to do so, observing, of course, any legal obligations including any collective bargaining obligations._ + Manage and maintain the Coupa procurement and spend management platform including user management, system configuration/maintenance, process workflow, user training and other platform admin duties required for any additional processes or functionalities introduced. + Assist Coupa users resolve order related issues, answer questions and guide users with Coupa User best practices. + Assists suppliers with order and invoice related questions; Assists with researching overdue invoices for suppliers as to why payment has not been made; coordinate with users or purchasing groups to ensure any systemic issues are addressed and the payments are made on time + Monitors Coupa activity for requisitions that require action, POs with change requests or any transaction that escalated from the Buyer Action queue; Assists requesters to resolve exceptions if the requisition is in exception status + Creates and update training materials as needed; coordinates and facilitates Coupa training; works with Global Learning Group update online Coupa training materials + Coordinates Coupa communication and maintains communication records. + Assists the Business Units in coordinating/obtaining information from Coupa; establishes processes for convenient access to this information and regular updates + Assists with Coupa Release/Upgrade management.  Provides a clear understanding of user impacts, documenting potential configuration conflicts to our Coupa platform design and research logged defects for corrective actions or solutions. Help test quarterly Coupa release enhancements. + Create customized views and reports in Coupa and schedules them for delivery as needed. + Manage projects and provide project support for Coupa configuration and systems integrations; assist with testing, configuration changes/update and work with IT teams to implement and maintain integrations function. + Assists Business Units in resolving invoice approval workflow and configurations. + Generates and Analyzes ad hoc reports using Coupa, Cognos or other data tools. + Supports the Accounts Payable team with correcting incorrect billing issues on the PO and answering common PO backed invoice questions from users. + Assists Manager/Analysts with various administrative tasks – update project logs, manage communication and follow-up on any open issues that need attention. + Supports the Accounting Automation team with projects that may require additional resources to complete. + Reviews supplier compliance with Coupa enablement protocol; coordinates with Manager, CMs, Suppliers and Requesters to promptly resolve any non-compliance concerns, creates, and manages scheduled reports to the Business Units if requested; Monitors the Supplier Enablement inbox and respond to common questions; Send requests for changes in supplier transaction enablement to the appropriate team member; Assist with testing enablement transactions. + Takes initiative to learn the business and team’s needs to improve internal processes, best practices and data quality + Maintain working relationship with Purchasing Assistants and help with questions as needed. + Support other finance/accounting system automation projects as needed **All you'll need for success** **Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience** + Bachelor's degree **Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience** + System knowledge and experience - Coupa, Cognos, SAP, Mosaic, Hyperion **Skills, Licenses & Certifications** + Attention to detail + Ability to work with minimal supervision + Ability to work effecticely with others in a cross-functional team environment + Proven record of handling multiple projects simultaneously; ability to keep track of various project details, prioritize and coordinate schedules with the team to meet the deadlines + Skilled in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) + Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality + Ability to learn new software applications and apply new learning **What you'll get** Feel free to take advantage of all that American Airlines has to offer: + Travel Perks: Ready to explore the world?
