This NYC / NJ-based Development Analyst will be primarily focused on sourcing new development opportunities in an array of markets in the NE region. Role & Responsibilities: + Conduct research to support investment strategies and evaluate transaction opportunities + Create financial models and analysis that generate projected investment cash flow and returns + Assist in preparation of presentations, memos, and analyses to support new and existing investments + Build and maintain strong relationships, both directly and with brokers and consultants in the NE region + Manage teams of consultants and contractors to obtain the regional capital deployment goals and objectives + Manage cost and timeline of each development project, large tenant improvement jobs, and important capex projects as necessary + Assist and participate in the due diligence investigation of new investment opportunities, including coordination with third parties + Assist in coordinating all site entitlement and building due diligence including environmental site assessments, boundary surveys, easements, geotechnical evaluations, platting, traffic, permitting, etc. Your Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree in real estate, finance, or applicable field + 0-3 years of relevant work experience + Advanced Microsoft Excel and Power Point skills required + Strong understanding of applied investment and valuation analysis + Financial modeling and Argus experience preferred + Effective communication, time management, and presentation skills + Ability to work well in a team, confidently sharing ideas and recommendations + Forward-thinking, low-ego, positive, and can-do attitude with the capability to thrive and navigate uncertainty and complex situations Your Career @ Brookfield Properties: At Brookfield Properties, your career progression is important to us.
