Job Summary

Supports the movement and growth opportunities for inbound and outbound cargo for freight forwarding customers. Ensures that freight is processed in compliance with governmental regulations (e.g., Federal Aviation Administration, Transportation Security Administration, etc.). Collaborates with vendors, customers, commercial airline carriers, ocean freightliners, and other internal support groups for the movement of international and domestic air and ocean shipments.

Provides specific functional expertise that is theoretical and conceptual in nature. This expertise is typically acquired through a combination of university education and experience within a field. May have responsibility for supervising others in the capacity of a “player coach” but primary focus is individual expertise.

Applies working knowledge of theories, practices, and/or procedures within job discipline. Broadens capabilities and understanding of the company processes, and customers. Performs mostly routine assignments and resolves common issues by using precedents or seeking guidance. Assesses straightforward problems and proposes solutions based on analysis of factual information, experience, judgment, and precedents. Impacts quality of own work and the work of others on the team. Shares factual information with other team members. Receives guidance on a regular basis. Entry-level to UPS’s professional career track. Typically requires a four-year degree or equivalent experience.

Order Processing & Shipment Coordination:

Process and manage orders from customer orders in SAP, ensuring they are entered accurately into the system.

Coordinate with operations, warehouses, carriers, and vendors to schedule pickups, deliveries, and shipments.

Monitor and ensure on-time delivery of shipments, proactively addressing any issues or delays

Customer Communication:

Act as the primary point of contact for Ducati regarding shipment updates, inquiries, and problem resolution.

Provide timely and accurate information on delivery schedules, order status, and tracking details.

Manage incoming calls and emails from clients with professionalism and promptness.

Must be currently located in the same geographic location as the job or willing to relocate yourself –Required.  

Shift: Monday – Friday 8 am to 4:30 pm

Pay Range:

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $29,90/hr to $48,55/hr. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to, market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and education/training and a candidate’s work experience. Hired applicants are offered annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs, subject to applicable eligibility requirements. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
