SUMMARY

Uses specific knowledge of investment performance and risk analysis, investment product comprehension, and data analysis applications to produce monthly and quarterly investment reviews by asset class. Has knowledge and expertise related to investment performance evaluation, typically gained through formal education or equivalent experience. Requires working knowledge and experience in investment performance and risk analysis. Continues to build knowledge of the company, processes and clients. Performs a range of assignments related to enablement of investment functions (research, portfolio management and trading).

MAJOR DUTIES

Produces asset-class specific evaluation of outcomes on an absolute and relative basis to support Monthly and Quarterly Investment Review processes.Works closely with Performance, Attribution, Portfolio Management, Product Management and Technology to curate appropriate data from multiple sources to produce monthly and quarterly investment reviews.Understanding of markets, economics and performance attribution.Strong written communication skills with the ability to identify key themes and relevant points of interest amidst many data pointsSolves problems in straightforward situationsAnalyzes possible solutions using technical experience and judgment and precedentsImpacts quality of own work and the work of others on the team

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS

Requires conceptual knowledge in investments and the financial markets, usually acquired with an undergraduate degree and related experience analyzing investment outcomes.Familiarity with fundamental, quantitative and passive approaches to investing and the drivers of absolute and relative performance.Experience with data analytics tools, including python and Power BI.Explains complex information to others in straightforward situations

EXPERIENCE

A bachelor’s degree in a designated STEM field (engineering, computer science, quantitative finance, or similar). CFA designation preferred.3+ years investment performance and risk analysis experience.
