In addition to highly competitive salaries, we offer a bonus program, 401(k) with company match, employee stock purchase program; comprehensive medical, dental and vision benefits, including a robust wellness program; paid time off for vacation, holidays, and sick days; and much more. **Expected salary range** of $75,600 to $84,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k). **PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION** • Individual will be the primary liaison between the Market Risk Group and the regional trading desk they support. They will become subject matter experts on the unique makeup of the portfolio and will be responsible for the day-to-day risk monitoring. • Build effective relationship with Wholesale Trading while maintaining an un-biased perspective. • Serve as strategic business partners to enable our stakeholders to leverage risk frameworks. • Facilitate risk assessment and buildout of new risk frameworks as the portfolio and markets evolve. • Facilitate cross functional collaboration across the Gas Business to identify operational risks and implement remediation plans. **PRIMARY DUTIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES** • Enforce adherence to trading limits and market risk policies and procedures. • Calculate risk metrics, streamline and automate calculations wherever possible. Maintain high standards of quality. • Analysis of VaR, position limits, stress tests, and scenario analysis related to the portfolios • Provide daily update of risks and positions for specified region(s) – including significant changes. • Raise potential issues and recommended actions to Market Risk Management. • Establish an active dialogue with portfolio managers to understand and quantify emerging market risks and hedge strategies. • Support the implementation of new risk frameworks and ad-hoc scenario analyses. • Provide materials for the weekly and monthly Risk Management meetings as well as other special/ad hoc analysis for various management meetings. **MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS** • Bachelor's degree with related major and excellent academic background. • Minimum 2 years of related experience • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of the organization • Analytical skills to develop sound recommendations • Basic knowledge of the energy industry • Strong analytical problem solving and data analysis skills, with attention to detail • Strong organization and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize, multi-task and adapt to the changing needs of the business • Experienced in Excel and PowerPoint • Highly motivated, self-starter with ability to lead, work independently and/or participate as a team member on multi-part projects with little oversight **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS** • Graduate degree in a quantitative discipline (such as accounting, mathematics, sciences, economics, finance, or engineering) • Knowledge of trading systems, processes and practices • Knowledge of energy derivatives and markets Constellation is proud to be an equal opportunity employer and employees or applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to: age, color, disability, gender, national origin, race, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, protected veteran status, or any other classification protected by federal, state, or local law.
