Your role at Baxter:

As a Analyst, Planning (Temporary) at Baxter Healthcare Corporation, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing operations. You will have the opportunity to contribute to our world-class supply chain processes and help us optimize our planning efforts to meet the demands of our customers. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring flawless execution of our supply planning strategies and driving process improvements.

This is an ambitious role that requires proven analytical skills and the ability to compete in a fast-paced environment.

What you’ll be doing:Assists in developing a comprehensive network supply plan for the supply chain organization, ensuring it aligns with the demand signal, on-hand inventory, and inventory targets. This plan aims to meet the financial requirements, operational capabilities/capacities, and wholesalers service objectives of the assigned Business Unit.Undertaking analytics and identifying process improvements managing a defined product portfolio.Recommends changes to the network supply plan when deemed necessary over the planning horizon. Changes are to be governed through sales and operations execution (S&OE) and planning (S&OP) process.Communicates and interacts with demand planners, customer management, production planning, sales, and finance to provide replenishment plans and exception-based reporting for assigned BU. Makes recommendations on actions needed to meet actual and forecasted demand.Supports the Supply Planning team with new product introductions and product conversions.Reports Key Performance Indicators for their given Business Unit complete with process improvement initiatives and prioritizes tasks and deliverables in a timeline intense environment.Support and/or drive continuous improvement efforts to enhance performance in all important measurements, including service targets and network inventory levels.

What you’ll bring:B.A./B.S. Supply Chain, Operations, or a business-related field.Minimum of 2+ years in an end-to-end supply chain role and experience in production planning, supply chain planning, or logistics.Strong analytical, critical thinking, & problem-solving skills required.Proficiency in data gathering and both quantitative and qualitative data analysis is required, including the analysis of business process metrics and measures that are connected to business performance.Solid, straightforward, and professional oral and written communication skills, including presenting data and analysis clearly to management.Ability to work with all levels and functions within the Company, and with external business partners.Well-organized and high level of attention to detail.
