Royal Caribbean Onboard Revenue team has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Analyst, Precruise Planner Revenue reporting to the Senior Manager, Precruise Revenue.
Position Summary
The Analyst, Precruise Planner Revenue will provide pricing and inventory support for Precruise Planner (PCP) for all products offered on the platform (Beverage, Shorex, Internet, Dining, Spa, Photo, etc.) for the Royal Caribbean International brand. This person will play a pivotal part in current and future system enhancements. The position will report to Manager, Precruise Revenue make sure that the brand is maximizing revenue opportunities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Ensures all Precruise planner inventory (including the correct product codes) is up to date for all onboard areas, including Beverage, Shorex, Internet, Spa, Photo, and Onboard Activities. Completes necessary pricing changes for promotions and regular price changes for the above-mentioned areas. Works with third parties for Spa and Photo on inventory loading schedules. Finalizes all necessary request forms for internal stakeholders for successful execution of promotions, new products, and existing product updates. Collaborates with Legal team to develop appropriate terms and conditions for new offers and any changes to existing products that live in PCP. Performs quality assurance on pricing changes during frequent promotions and general price changes. Manages pricing, inventory, and promotions in multiple systems and trains any existing system users on enhancements. Communicates current offers to international markets to make sure they are on track to meet PCP targets. Participates in ad hoc analysis as needed.This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee occupying this position. Financial Responsibilities
Responsible for processes and systems to reach Global Revenue Goals - 2023: $1.4b (booked revenue) and 2024f: $1.7b (booked revenue).
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required; one to three years related financial and business analysis experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Candidate must possess strong written and oral communication skills and be able to work effectively with all levels of operational personnel. Strong computer and analytical skills are required.Knowledge and Skills
Advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPoint are required. Knowledge of Hyperion, SQL, Visual Basic, Essbase and business intelligence tools preferred. Attention to detail required. Willingness to accept immediate product and project responsibility. Ability to operate in a team environment. Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated maturity. Ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities at once.Physical Demands
While performing job functions the employee is regularly required to sit, and stand, write, review and type reports, compile data, operate a pc, communicate, listen, and assess information. The employee may move about the office complex, may travel to other office locations and may lift, push, pull or move 25-35 pounds. The employee is occasionally required to walk to the dock, ascend and descend the vessel. This position may regularly travel domestically or internationally. Visual requirements include distant, close and color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
